Job Description

At Imbio, we strive to produce software that is high quality and robust. The Software Test Engineer is an integral part of this focus. Successful applicants will have a passion for testing software in a collaborative environment while having the self-motivation to work effectively independently.

Required Skills

  • Meeting with development managers to discuss software specifications and ensure changes are testable.
  • Designing manual and automated test procedures to evaluate each software product’s conformance to documented requirements.
  • Coding automated test procedures and ensuring their validation 
  • Investigating, logging, and tracking bugs to determine root cause and improve test procedures accordingly. 
  • Collaborating with Software Development and DevOps teams to improve and maintain automation framework. 
  • Executing tests and generating test reports to support software releases.

Preferred Skills

  • Direct experience in full-cycle QA: test planning, test designing, test scripting and execution. 
  • Overall 3+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance, preferably in medical, financial, or similarly regulated industry.
  • Clear, concise, and persuasive written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Demonstrated experience with presenting best practices to internal audiences.
  • Experience with/knowledge of Jenkins, CircleCI, AWS
  • Hands-on experience coding automation in Robot, PyTest, Selenium.
  • Proactive relationship management with the Software Development team.
